The Library gladly accepts donations of books and audiovisual (e.g., movie DVDs, books on tape/CD) materials. Please bring your donations to the Circulation Desk on the first floor.

Due to community demand and collection considerations, there are some items we are unable to accept:

• VHS or audio tapes
• Encyclopedias
• Magazines
• Textbooks
• Computer Books / Manuals
• Art Prints

Donated materials are considered <gifts> and become the property of the Louisville Public Library Foundation.

The Louisville Public Library Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized to promote and support the Louisville Public Library. Our Board Members meet at least four times annually and then optionally in subcommittees to provide advocacy and fundraising for our Library.
