Join us for a heartwarming Tales of Tails story time with the Longmont Humane Society and our ambassador dog! Each attendee will get a free copy and be able to read along with us Gray Whiskers — A Kid’s Guide for Loved Ones Growing Older©, a touching story about Jack and his beloved dog Cooper. When Jack notices Cooper slowing down, he learns that growing older is a natural part of life—for both pets and people. Through this gentle tale, children will discover the importance of kindness, compassion, and respect as loved ones age. After the story, kids will get to meet a real dog and practice their new skills in safe and caring interactions.
